Welcome-Brajutpad page welcomes visitors to the Website Brajutpad. The website describes the important places in Braj. Brajbhumi or Braj (ब्रज) is a place where everyone wishes to come at least once in his lifetime. This is because of its association with Shri Krishna. There are many cities and towns famous in Braj where Shri Krishna lived and did Bal Lilas. The most famous among these are Mathura and Vrindavan.
Welcome-Brajutpad takes you to Mathura and Vrindavan which are the two traditional famous cities having many Temples dedicated to Shri Krishna. Pilgrims coming to Braj do not miss having darshan of temples in Mathura and Vrindavan. As regards the Brajutpads these are the items mostly used in daily worship. Most of the articles are sold in the local markets of Mathura and Vrindavan. These products or Brajutpads are preserved as Souvenirs or gifted to friends and relatives by devotees.
Some of these items manufactured or assembled here are Rosary Beads mainly Tulsi Mala used for wearing known as Kanthi mala and for Mantra Japa, Brass and Copper items to be used in daily worship, Shringar or dress to be offered to Laddu Gopal (Idol of Child Krishna), Goumukhi ( Bag used for keeping Japa mala), Asana used for sitting in Puja, Brass and Ashtadhatu idols of Krishna Radha and various other Gods to be used in temples or Home, Brass Lamps, Wooden Handicrafts, Incense sticks, Women bangles and delicious sweets made from Milk.
Most of the places in Braj are associated with Shri Krishna. Shri Krishna was born in Mathura and passed his childhood in Gokul, Barsana, Vrindavan, Nandgaon and Goverdhan. Most of these places have some monuments or temples related to Shri Krishna and His childhood activities. Pilgrims have great respect for these places and temples.
